Season 24/25: Here we come!

At David del Curto, we aim to export 2.5 million boxes of fruit in the 2024/25 season, an 82% increase from last year. This growth is made possible by our strong relationships with growers, strategic efforts in the Chinese market, and our commitment to ensuring top quality. We remain focused on delivering the best fruit and driving sustainable growth in the industry.

At David del Curto, we are committed to ensuring a successful season, working closely in the orchards alongside our growers to achieve the ambitious goal of exporting 2.5 million boxes of fruit, representing an 82% increase in volume compared to last year. This challenge has been made possible thanks to the exceptional results obtained in the previous season, which not only reinforced our positioning in the industry but also demonstrated our ability to generate significant returns. These achievements have been key in our expansion strategy, growing with our old growers, attracting new growers to work with us and our fruits produced in our owns farms.

Under the leadership of Tomás Bauer, our Chief Production Officer , and Lorenzo Pinochet, Head of the Cherry Program, we have received excellent feedback from our growers. Both long-time partners and new associates who have joined us this season appreciate our management, motivating us to continue strengthening successful and mutually beneficial long-term relationships.

Likewise, the commercial team has played a crucial role in the Chinese market. Tomás Campos, our Chief Commercial Officer and Nicolás Troncoso, Deputy Commercial Manager and Head of the Cherry Commercial Program, have worked tirelessly to understand and respond to our clients’ demands, strategically segmenting the fruit and aligning with consumption trends in China. Thanks to our commercial office in China, DDCFresh, which constantly monitors the market, we are fine-tuning every detail to ensure success during this great Chinese New Year of the Wood Snake.

A critical challenge this season is the control of the fruit fly, one of the main threats to the fruit industry. At David del Curto, we have taken this matter as an absolute priority to the success of our exports. In response to this challenge, we have implemented a rigorous protocol at our DDC Romeral plant, located within the regulated area. This process includes advanced and efficient measures that comply with international phytosanitary requirements, ensuring the safety of our products and optimizing logistics to guarantee that our cherries arrive at their destination in perfect condition.

At David del Curto, we remain focused on #DeliveringOurBest for our growers and business partners. Our commitment to the top quality and innovation drives us to tackle every challenge with determination, ensuring our fruit reaches global markets in optimal condition. We appreciate the continued support and trust of all our collaborators, and we are excited about what this season holds. Together, we will continue to build a successful and sustainable future in the fruit industry.
