Our story began more than 70 years ago as “David del Curto,” in its early days a nuts and legumes trading company in Chile. Today, as DDC, our fresh, delicious produce nourishes people in more than 40 countries around the world.

Establishment of David del Curto Company, starting with the export of dried fruits to Argentina.

The company is constituted as David Del Curto Libera Exportadora Agropecuaria S.A.

Beginning of fresh fruit exports.

Opening of the Packinghouse in Requínoa.

Opening of the Packinghouse in Romeral, Curicó.

Death of David del Curto, leading to a subsequent reorganization of the company’s ownership.

Opening of the plant in Retiro, strengthening the company's production and export capacity.

David del Curto becomes the first Chilean company to export cherries to China.

The Solari Family, through the Corso Group, takes control of the company, focusing on cherries as the star product.

HNRG, a member of the Manulife group, acquires a 90% stake in DDC, leaving 10% in the hands of the Corso Group.

MIMTA takes full control of the company.
Investments are made in the cherry lines in Curicó.
